Dr. UN is now the Ghanaian man of the moment after scamming a host of top Ghanaian celebrities and high profile citizens.
The award which was dubbed ‘The 7TH Global Leadership Service To Humanity’ award was given out in recognition of the recipients’ contribution to humanity. It was however realized that the said award had no credibility.
The recipients of the award have therefore been the subject of social media trolls after being easily deceived. Kumawood actor, Yaw Dabo has however come to the defence of the award recipients.
While speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Yaw Dabo indicated that he was sure that Sarkodie who is a superstar might have been a little misled.
He also indicated that, it was not easy for one to be considered for an international award of such nature and as such anyone would easily fall victim to what happened.
Yaw Dabo said that those making fun of the celebs did not know what they were saying since the award, in his own opinion, was a very huge recognition.
Yaw Dabo then went on to indicate that the UN awards is bigger than the VGMA awards. The actor added that Sarkodie was at the VGMA but the rapper chose the UN award over the music award.
