Kenyan Pencil Artist Who Caught Steve Harvey’s Attention Gets Juicy International Celebrity Deals

Collins Omondi has opened up on the great success that came with Steve Hervey’s recognition.

As earlier reported, ‘Moneybags’ Nandalwe has promised to send Collins to Botswana to meet Steve Harvey on his strip to Africa and present him with his drawing, but the trip is highly threatened by the coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview sighted by, Collins Omondi says he has been in touch with Steve Harvey’s team.

“My last communication with Steve, he confirmed that his team will get back to me with all the necessary information. It will happen, Steve assured. Only the time is still unknown for obvious reasons. It could be anytime, just awaiting confirmation,” Omondi stated.

The artist spoke about the great attention he received and how big of a boast it was to his craft, considering there were many artists doing the same job as his adding that meeting Steve Harvey would be the icing on the cake.

“Meeting Steve is an added advantage and icing on the cake, him showing interest to have it out of the possible thousands (hundreds of thousand) other artist’s impressions of him is mind-blowing. My profile received a huge boost from this,” the artist delightfully said.

Omondi also revealed that he had received a lot of orders from local and international top celebrities to have him create more art.

“So many orders to work on both local and international, so many top celebs, I have literally lost count. Not just outside the borders but also local,” he revealed.
