Since yesterday, Ghanaians have been eagerly waiting to know who would lead the country for the next four years following the end of the most anticipated 2020 elections.
Prior to the elections, the Electoral Commission came out to indicate that, they would be able to declare the results of the parliamentary and presidential elections.
However, the Commission later mad a u-turn indicating that torrential rains in some parts of the country had delayed results from those areas and postponed the date for the declaration of the results.
In an official press address in the midnight of December 8, Jean Mensah indicated that the results will likely be declared later in the day on December 9.
According to her, the process was delayed by unexpected rainfall and other minor issues around the country but 14 out of 16 regional results have been successfully collated.
