A married 42-year-old man from Kakamega died in company of his mistress on Wednesday morning, June 24 after allegedly overdosing on Viagra.
According to Kakamega Central OCPD, David Kabena, the late Munala booked and checked into a lodging facility in Kakamega Town on Tuesday afternoon.
Along with him was a 31-year old woman from Siaya who was only identified as “Anyango.”
They ordered dinner at 3:45 Pm but only Anyango ate before they headed to their room.
“The two ordered dinner before leaving for their room at Amazon Hotel. It was only the lady who ate,” Kabena revealed.
However, on Wednesday morning, the lady stormed out of their hotel room in panic.
She allegedly told the lodging manager that her partner had overdosed on the sex-enhancing drugs but then passed on.
The management called the police who arrived at the scene and took the deceased to the Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue.
An autopsy has indicated that Munala indeed died of a heart attack that is believed to have been caused by the viagra overdose.
The police are further investigating the case.
The departed has an 8-year-old son with his wife of 10 years.
