Mike Mbuvi Sonko has shared some tips to a happy love life that he would want those in relationships and marriages to emulate.
The Nairobi Governor brought forth the tips with wisdom as he was celebrating his anniversary with his wife of 21 years, Primrose.
He urged the young couples to emulate some of the most prominent people in East Africa.
As such, he pointed out the late President of Burundi, Pirerre Nkurunziza and his wife Denise Nkurunziza.
He says the couple dated in their youth and Denise was Nkurunziza’s first girlfriend. And yet they have been together for as long as he lived.
“I would like to encourage all the young couples to emulate the late President of Burundi Pierre Nkurunziza and his 1st Girlfriend Denise Nkurunziza who until his death was his wife and the 1st Lady of Burundi.” Sonko wrote in the Instagram post.
Sonko also referenced the marriage of President Uhuru Kenyatta to Margaret Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto to Rachael Ruto.

He says those couples have been patient with each other and that is why things are falling in place for them.
He urged women to support their men even during the darkest hours. Ida Odinga did not leave Raila when he was in detention for years. Neither did Primrose dump him when he was in prion, he noted.
“Life has ups and downs, but if the two of you stick together, you will look back at such photos, and say- wow!” He said referring to a old photo of the late Nkurunziza and his wife, Denise.
Addressing the men, the city boss advised them to satisfy their women in bed especially during this cold season in order to maintain the spark in the relationship.
He further urged those with trouble in bedroom performance to resort to the use of traditional herbs like “mukoberoo” instead of viagra.
To the kind of drunkard men that only love to sleep, Governor amesema, “mambo yakulewa alafu kulala fofofo muwache.”
