All is set for the biggest music awards night in Ghana as the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is set to come off tomorrow, 29th August, 2020.
Music fans across the country have already begun cheering on their favourite artistes to win big. One artiste that has been tipped to bag home, the night’s biggest price is Ghana and Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie.
Sarkodie is undoubtedly one of the greatest musicians in the history of Ghana if not the greatest. His high level of consistency has caused a lot of people to indicate that he has no match in the industry.
One of such persons is fast-rising Ghanaian singer, Fameye.
Speaking in an interview on TV3, Fameye explained that the BET Award winning rapper has won a lot of local and international awards hence he doesn’t need more.
“Sarkodie has won many awards and I don’t think there is a need for him to win more. He has to leave it for young artists like us to win. I admire him a lot and I think it’s about time he goes on leave in terms winning awards”. Fameye disclosed.
