3 Women Sentenced For Weeding Out Black Jack From Rich Man’s Farm

Two women have been sentenced to two months non-custodial sentences for trespassing into the Frankenstein Farm in Embu and weeding out black jack to feed their rabbits.

45-year-old Faith Muthoni and Purity Wambogo aged 42 pleaded guilty to trespassing before Magistrate Tony Kwambai at the Embyu Law Courts.

According to reports, the duo got into the restricted farm and proceeded to pluck out the weeds without the owner’s knowledge and permission on June 29.

It is also revealed that the farm manager was the one that caught the two women in action at the farm, uprooting and stacking the weeds in heaps.

He proceeded to call the police at Manyatta Police Station after which they were arrested and arraigned in court.

A bunch of the weeds which are reported to have been in possession of the accused was presented in court by prosecution as evidence.
