Authorities in Nakuru are investigating the circumstances under which a retired teacher died after having a good time with a woman in a local guesthouse.
The 76-year-old old man had booked a room at a Salama boarding and lodging on the night of Wednesday, January 5, and later joined by a twilight girl about half an hour later.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers who combed the crime scene on Thursday morning, were informed the man had apparently taken several rounds of local booze.
A cleaner who was going about her duties discovered the man’s lifeless body on noticing that his door was not locked as would be the case.
“She immediately alerted the manager Bernard Kiarie, who informed our detectives based in Molo, about the discovery,” the detectives said.
This comes barely a week after another man died mysteriously in similar circumstances.
