Embu County Commissioner has urged the men in his county to dress their wives in school uniform to avoid preying on minors.
According to Galgalo Abdulahi, the husbands should quell their sexual desires to their wives in uniforms rather than get drawn to children.
Galgalo stated that teen pregnancy in the county was ticking time bomb and everyone is advised to participating in control and prevention measures.
He also called upon parents to involve the children in meaningful activities that will not leave them idling around.
In recent news reports, teen pregnancy cases have been on the rise since the wake of Covid-19 that saw the closure of all learning institutions in the country.
In Machakos County alone, 4,000 teenage girls were impregnated within just three months since coronavirus.
However, the Ministry of Education said they suspected the numbers were exaggerated.
Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha said his ministry along with the Media Council would investigate the matter to establish the actual number before giving an elaborative report.
