The students and authorities of Mba Secondary School in Makueni County woke up to very disturbing news on Sunday, January 26.
The school principal Mr. Peter Muyanga was taken to hospital on Saturday night after drinking the insecticide meant for killing ticks at his residence in the school compound.
He was immediately taken to the Makueni County Referral Hospital but pronounced dead upon arrival.
It is believed Mr. Peter committed suicide even though he did not leave behind a suicide note.
A source stated to the Nation that “He had attempted to take his life previously.”
