Lorry Fares To Shoot Up By 10% on February 22

In the middle of a pandemic where almost nation is trying as much as possible to free its citizens of economic burden, the case is entirely different in Ghana.

The National Drivers Association of Ghana have announced that transport fares to anywhere across the country will be increased by 10% from February 22, 2021.

The association has instructed its members to strictly comply with this rule from the indicated date.

The increment of the fare was influenced by the increasing service charges and some taxes at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority(DVLA) and the ports.
