English Premier League Games Set To Be Shown On YouTube For Free

Premier League football fans are in for a treat with some of the remaining 92 fixtures of the 2019/20 campaign set to be shown live on YouTube for free.

Sky, BT Sport and Amazon are in talks over how to broadcast the rest of the season, which has been on hold since March 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

With Project Restart forecasting matches taking place behind closed doors from the week commencing June 8, all 92 of the remaining Premier League fixtures are going to be shown live on TV.

The Times report current proposals involve some of those top-flight games being available to watch via YouTube at no cost to viewers.

Premier League bosses are under intense pressure to complete the season so they can avoid handing back bucketloads of cash made from broadcasting deals.

And, as well as all 92 fixtures being shown live, it’s looking possible that the BBC will be allowed to broadcast highlights more often.
