Although the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections are over, there are still controversies surrounding the authenticity of the election result that was declared in favour of incumbent President Akufo-Addo.
The opposition National Democratic Congress have come out to reject the election results claiming that election result was fictionalized.
This comes as no surprise as the current Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa was directly appointed by the incumbent president and as such several rumors indicate that the election was rigged in favour of the President.
In a rather controversial development, the Electoral commission has quickly unfollowed the NPP party on Twitter.
This is coming after Celebrities Buzz’s report that they were the only party that they were following with their verified account out of the 12 parties who contested in the 2020 Ghana elections.
Moments after the report went viral on Facebook, the EC who obviously got to know quickly unfollowed the NPP party.
