The duo informed the court that the money, which they had surrendered upon their arrest, was never handed back to them upon their arraignment in court.

“Following our arrest, we surrendered our phones upon being booked at the station.

“However, we only got our mobile phones and the money had gone missing we tried to enquire but no one informed us on who had taken our money.

“We want the officer in charge central police station to be complied to produce whoever took our money,” Omar said.

The duo further told the court that they were unable to identify the names of the officers who robbed them.
