Angelina Nana Akua Oduro, the face behind the iconic ‘Akwaaba’ photo, has revealed the challenges she has faced in her life.
In an interview with ZionFelix on the ‘Uncut’ Show, she said that life has not been easy for her.
Angelina said that she often begs for money in order to purchase drugs.
She can’t even brag about having access to water where she works. She gets water somewhere and holds it on her back, according to her.
The lovely lady revealed that her engagement, which had taken her away from the public eye, had failed to stand the test of time.
Angelina said she hasn’t gotten much out of being identified as the “Akwaaba Lady” over the past 22 years.
As a result, she begged others to come to her rescue.
Madam Angelina remembered how a church member advised her to comment about topics related to the picture she took years before, in the hopes of gaining some opportunity.
