Ghana and Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie is in a state of sorrow after a 13 year old boy to who he donated money for a brain tumour surgery passed on yesterday.
Michael Kofi Asiamah trended all over after news of his surgery came out with social media users contributing to his GoFundMe. Many celebrities shared the appeal for funds including Sarkodie, helping to raise the total in record time.
Michael had surgery three days ago, and while things appeared to be going well, things took a turn for the worse.
Michael’s mother has taken to social media to share the news that he died unexpectedly today.
He appeared to be doing well after the surgery, according to her, and everything appeared to be in order, but he tragically died suddenly.
Sharing a video of a very healthy Michael Kofi Asiamah apparently taken after his surgery, Sarkodie said he spoke to him in hope that he bounces back to a full life but God had other plans.
