The event saw the two most controversial musicians in Ghana face off each other in a lyrical war as they entertained their fans with back to back hit songs.
Following the events, there were several rumors circulating indicating that Shatta Wale had been declared winner of the contest. This was incited by the fact that, one Mr Patrick Mensah who happens to be a ‘Shatta Wale’ fan emerged as the highest texter of the show and was awarded a car.
This has however been brushed of by the organizers of the show.
Nana Opoku Agyeman, Chief Executive Officer of Asaase Broadcasting Company Limited, speaking to the press afterwards, noted that
“It is amazing to see such dedication as has been displayed by Mr. Patrick Nartey… He truly deserves to win this car”.
Nana Opoku Agyeman added
“Mr Nartey has told us that he is definitely a staunch supporter of the Shatta Movement, and therefore texted accordingly. This does not mean in any way that the SM camp has won anything over the BHIM nation, irrelative of whose supporter he is.”
