Former TV3 staff and mental health advocate, Abena Korkor has made some jaw dropping revelations in her latest interview with Delay.
During the interview, Abena Korkor indicated that she was bent on finding out the source of her mental struggles as none of her family members had any mental issue. This is because it is believed that one can get Bipolar disorder by hereditary.
Abena also disclosed that whenever she experiences her mental disorder, she highly craves for sex. As part of making some revelations she also chipped in how she had s3kz when she was 6 years old.
” I can’t say for a fact that having sex at age 6 brought about my mental illness. What I know is, I’ve never seen myself as one who fits in and when I was in Tertiary, I felt within my system that all wasn’t well. So I immediately went to the hospital and when they couldn’t treat me, I was sent to the Accra Psychiatric hospital where I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.” Abena Korkor revealed.
