Why Anerlisa Muigai Said ‘No’ To producers In Netflix Reality Show

The producers of the much talked about reality TV show Young, Famous and Africa wanted to cast a Kenyan.

This information has come to light after Kenyans started suggesting who should be on the second season of the Netflix reality show.

Netizens put out a list.

“Betty Kyalo, Amber Ray and Eric Omondi say they should have been featured on “Young Famous and African”. Which Kenyan Celebrity Should Represent Kenya On The Next Season Of Netflix Reality show “Young, Famous and African” ?”

Well, Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai revealed that she was approached but she turned the producers down.

According to Anerlisa the producers of the show asked if she could be part of the show but she did not think it was a good opportunity for her.

Anerlisa explained,

“Jokes aside, they sent me an email of if I was interested to be in it but I turned down.”

It is not yet clear if the second season will have a Kenyan star, the end of the first season ended with a cliffhanger.

That said, here is the full list of the eight stars from East, West and Southern Africa that were cast on the reality show.

  • South African actress, TV host and singer Khanyi Mbau. She is also the sister of famous SA celebrity Lasizwe Dambuza.
