Sia is indeed the GREATEST. But how abominably ridiculous is it for her to confuse Nicki Minaj for Cardi B? Nicki’s fans aren’t keeping calm.
It all started in a single tweet that has since been deleted. A fan asked Sia if she will ever collaborate with Nicki Minaj.
The fan, @siasmelodrama tweeted alongside a photo of Nicki Minaj:
“@SIA Have you seen this pic? Where’s the collab with @NICKIMINAJ?”
Sia then responded saying that she loves Cardi and would want to collaborate with her:

Even though there are chances of Sia and Cardi ever working together, Nicki’s fans are maaaaad!!!
“Girl move that hair out yo face AND LOOK!” A Nicki fan, @BreJanaiy commented.
There were many more backlashes directed to the Chandelier star under #Siaisoverparty on Twitter.
“SIA GIRL YOU NEED TO DELETE I’M NOT PLAYING,” said another follower.
And yet another lamented, “Why would u say this?”
E! News reports that Sia followed up her initial response with a several tweets she later deleted.
Within those tweets, she is reported to have addressed the alleged beef between the two female rappers.
I one of the tweets she rubbished the said feud saying Nicki and Cardi are not so focused on the beef other than the problematic issue of race.
“Hey @iamcardib @NICKIMINAJ you aren’t thinking about a feud right now are you? We are focused on the problem of systematic racism.” Sia tweeted.
Later on, Sia publicly apologized to both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. She says she made a buffoon of herself as she misunderstood the tweet.
“I totally misunderstood a tweet earlier that has resulted in me making a buffoon out of myself. Sorry @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib if you hear about it. Can I just like you both.”
