Ugandan musician Jose Chameleon has apologized for kissing his brother Weasel during their performance at Gwanga Mujje Concert.
In a video, Chameleon apologized for his actions which have raised a lot of backlash from fans. He confessed that he regrets the act and would like sincerely apologize for his and Weasel’s actions.
The musician explained that they were caught up in the heat of the moment and they ended up sharing a passionate kiss.
“I wish to use this opportunity to apologize to my fans and friends for the kiss me and Weasel shared on stage. I know most of my friends are offended and didn’t carry it lightly and I sincerely apologize. It was just too much energy and excitement and I actually regret it. The energy was too high…and I also apologize on his behalf.”
Chameleon also thanked his fans for showing up at his festival and thanked the National Vice Chairman of NRM Eastern Mr. Mukula for his guidance.
“I want to thank you –my fans, friends, and the whole country who came out in large numbers to support my concert Gwanga Mujje. My sincere apologies to the general public I thank you @Mukulaa for your advice and patronage – For God and my country.”
This is the third time they have kissed passionately on stage since their last kiss in 2022 at a show in Bujumbura, Burundi.
A few weeks ago, Chameleone and his brother Pallaso stirred a mixed reaction with their recent video, dancing while holding each other intimately.
