Colonel Mustafa Confirms He is a Construction Worker, Reveals His Mother is Battling Cancer
Speaking on a phone call interview, the musician opened up about his financial struggles and the need to take a job at construction site to sustain himself.
“There is something I was doing I can’t talk a lot about it, but ni shughuli nimekuwa nikifanya for the past one year.”
He also stated that he has not had any music performances or gigs since April 2022, which has made things financially difficult for him.
Colonel Mustafa further revealed that he is working hard to help his mother who is battling cancer. He shared that currently his mother is undergoing treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Since his video went viral, Mustafa revealed he has been receiving calls from Kenyan artists who are concerned about his situation many of whom are questioning why he did not open up to them.
Kenyans have expressed concern over the drastic change in the lifestyle of rapper Colonel Mustafa, Others, however, have come to his defense, arguing that Mustafa is only human and that life can sometimes bring about ups and downs.
