Davido has rich friends.
Well, the musician will be turning 29 on Sunday, November 21, and to prepare himself for his big day, he took to social media and asked his friends to prove their love for him by sending him money.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, November 17, Davido asked his friends to send him USD 2,400 each to appreciate him.
Davido, through his tweet informed his friends that he has always been there and lifting them, therefore it was their turn to do the same for him.

”We rise by lifting others abi? Me I don dey rise dey lifting others for the past 100 years. So I want to know who my friends are. All of my friends one one million Naira. Shey they said we are 30 BG. If you don’t send your own. You out of here. You are gone” Davido said jokingly.
Well, his friends could not waste time as they hit his account with their contribution, raising about KSh 31 million within an hour.
