EC Boss Disappointed In Mahama For Not Submitting His Nomination Forms Himself

The chairperson of the Ghana Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa has expressed her disappointment in the inability of the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama to submit his nomination forms himself.

She indicated that it would have been better for Mahama to submit the forms himself so that he could be lectured on some of the modalities in the filing of the nomination.

She added that in his absence, his running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman could have at least done that on his behalf.

“As a Commission, we wished that former President John Mahama and/or his Vice Presidential candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang would have been here personally to present their nomination forms.

“As it would have allowed us an opportunity to engage particularly with the former President on some of his concerns we have noted in the media,” she stated.
