Report gathered by our outfit indicates that Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful fell flat on the floor at the dissolution of the 7th parliament and the inauguration of the 8th parliament of the 4th Republic of Ghana as the Members of Parliament for NPP and NDC fight over the majority seat in parliament.
Pictures sighted on Citi FM’s Facebook page indicates that a serious drama took place in parliment as at yesterday, January 6, 2021. Apparently, the whole drama stated when the NDC decided to move for the majority seat with the NPP being in disagreement.
The drama led to a confusion with which political party must occupy the majority seat. Hon. Ursula Owusu moved to the majority to occupy her seat but ended up on the floor as her seat was taken away from her. We can’t confirm if she was pushed by her own colleague but as to whatever findings comes out, you will be the first to know.
