Its a good time to be a student or an alumni of Ghana’s premier university, University of Ghana as the latest Africa Webometrics Rankings has shortlisted the prestigious university as the best within the West African sub region.
In the rankings, the university also placed 15th with respect to the best African universities.
OMGVoice.com understands that the July edition of the rankings was determined with the help of indicators received during the month.
It is understood that the criteria used in ranking the universities included presence (public knowledge shared), impact (web contents impact), openness (top-cited researchers), and excellence (top-cited papers).
