Tiktoker Blasts Kenyan Musicians for Failing to Compose Song Honouring Mwai Kibaki: “Hebu Mtoe Wimbo”

TikToker Brenda Anyango has blamed the Kenyan artiste for failing to compose a tribute song to the late Mwai Kibaki.

Anyango said that it was uncharacteristic of Kenyan singers to not compose a tribute song on an occasion such as this.

She urged artistes to release a song honouring Kibaki as soon as possible before his burial.

Anyango told Kenyan musicians to copy Tanzanian top musicians; the group from the neighbouring country released a song honouring their late president hours after his death.

“Mwai Kibaki is dead and there is no tribute song to him. What are our musicians doing? You should copy your fellow from Tanzania. Produce a song for Kibaki as soon as possible because we want to mourn.”
