Thomas Partey Has Not Been Sacked From Black Stars Camp As Alleged – Black Stars Source

News went rift earlier today that Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been sacked from Black Stars camp by manager CK Akonnor.

According to the reports, Thomas Partey was sacked by Ck Akonnor after choosing holidays over team camping for the International friendly games against Morocco and Ivory Coast.

It was reported that the Arsenal midfielder was supposed to arrive in camp earlier last week for the aforementioned friendly games.

However, he arrived late and was not able to give tangible reasons as to why he reported late to camp, forcing CK Akonnor to show him the exit door.

In a new development, astute Journalist Daniel Oduro who’s currently with the Black Stars in Morocco has debunk those reports.

According to Daniel Oduro, Partey was in Cape Coast on Thursday to meet his colleagues and coach Akonnor. He was excused from the two friendly games after a meeting with the Black Stars head coach.

Daniel Oduro further reported that Brentford winger Tarique Fosu was the player sacked from camp. He was sacked for showing up late and failing to answer numerous calls from management.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars arrived in Morocco at 5:30 am Morocco time (6:30 GMT) and will be training later today ahead of the tomorrow’s game at Complex Sportif Prince Moulay-Abdellah.
