Tema Residents Protest Against Using Bishop Titi-Offei’s Property As Coronavirus Isolation Centre

Published on

Residents of Tema Community 18 have kicked against using Bishop Titi-Offei’s property as a coronavirus isolation centre.

OMGVoice reported earlier that the Bishop had given his 100-bed facility to the Tema West Municipal Health Directorate to use as an isolation centre to help fight coronavirus.

The idea seemed to have not gone down well with the people in the community.

According to the alarmed residents, coronavirus is too contagious a disease to have its isolation facility situated in the area. Adding that isolation centres are supposed to be far from settlement.

So far Ghana has recorded 195 confirmed cases, 5 deaths and 38 discharged for home management.
