Michael Owusu Afriyie, a Ghanaian teacher, YouTuber, and social media education advocate known as Teacher Kwadwo, may be seen in a new video dressed in traditional clothing.
The instructor recently made headlines for his one-man effort to overhaul the Ghana Education Service (GES).
His campaign gathered traction on social media and was able to reach GES authorities, who summoned him.
However, according to a new development, the online celebrity was summoned to a disciplinary hearing to answer a few concerns about “professional misconduct.”
The letter, which did not reveal the letterhead or the person who signed it, stated that he is to appear in Akrofuom District Assembly Hall on Tuesday, August 10. However, in response to the invitation, the instructor stated that he was not scared to speak truth to power and was spotted wearing traditional garb and holding a staff.
In the video, teacher Kwadwo is heard saying that he was raised to speak up when required and that he would not be silent when there were obvious problems with the educational system.
He issued a message to his throngs of supporters, urging them to be faithful, and stated that he would confront the committee fairly and squarely.
