To these charges, they all pleaded guilty before Senior Principal Magistrate Angelo Kithinji.

However, they denied charges stating that they spiked a drink and therefore drugging one Benjamin Wanderi before stealing Sh105,000 from him.

Nyareba was charged separately for running operations at the brothel or at least being a part of the management.

She is accused of allowing the use of the premise as a brothel, charges which she denied.

Blaming law enforcement officers, the suspects accused the cops at Kasarani Police Station of denying them their sole source of income.

As such, they said their only crime at the brothel is prostitution and that everything else is fabricated against them.

They were each freed on a cash bail of Sh20,000 ahead of the hearing in September.

Mr. Benjamin Wanderi has been hospitalized since.
