Sammy Gyamfi Blasts CEO Of Angel Broadcasting Network For Suspending Captain Smart

Captain Smart was pulled off the air, according to Pinaxonlione.com, after his boss received a call from a high-ranking government official.

Franklin Cudjoe, CEO of Imani Ghana, revealed this information.

As Franklin Cudjoe, he had a conversation with Angel Fm’s Captain Smart, during which he discovered that he had been removed from the air by his superior.

According to Franklin Cudjoe, Captain Smart’s offence was to criticize governmental undertakings, which made the public authority highly unpopular.

The National Democratic Congress’ Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, is currently dissatisfied with the whole drama, and guess what, he has called out the CEO for being manipulated by a leader in the region, causing the media to become a nation of silence, as suggested by Sir Sam Jonnah.

Taking to Facebook, he wrote

Just learned that Captain Smart, the host of Angel FM’s morning show, has been taken off the air due to interference from some higher-ups in the intolerant Akufo-Addo administration.

Apparently, these NPP leaders are dissatisfied with how supportive the media has been of the collapsed Akufo-Addo regime in recent months.

Apparently, these NPP bigwigs are not enthused with how critical the journalist has become of the failed Akufo-Addo regime in recent time

This typifies the culture of silence that is fast creeping back into our body politics under the watch of President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia.

The C.E.O and management of Angel Broadcasting Limited must bow their heads down in shame.
