Today marked the beginning of the quarter-finals of the coveted National Science and Maths Quiz.
The first contest of the highly competitive stage saw three prestigious schools, Opoku Ware School, Wesley Girls’ School and Holy Child School battle for a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
Being the only all-male school in the contest, Opoku Ware School was under immense pressure to deliver since failure to do so would ultimately result in them being trolled.
At the end of the contest, the boys from Kumasi proved their worth as they won with a whopping 47 points. Holy Child paced second with 40 points and Wesley girls placed third with 37 points.
