Speaking in an interview with Pure FM’s Osei Kwadawo, the son of the landlady, Emmanuel Quartey stated that the party officials have gone contrary to the tenancy agreement of two years rent by operating in the building for more than five years and have failed to renew their agreement when their time was due.

”After the two years agreement expired, the party leadership declined several invitations to meet us for a new agreement,” he told Pure FM.

He revealed that the party paid an initial of GHc1000 per month for two years but have failed to renew their contract by breaching their initial agreement. He revealed that they are waiting for the NPP’s Ashanti Regional Minister, Chairman Wontumi to make payments of the unpaid debt or they close the place down.

‘Now we are waiting for Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, but if he fails to show up, we will close down the building till the leadership of the party comes for another agreement,’‘ he fumed.
