Yesterday, ECOWAS Chairman and President of Ghana, Akufo-Addo finally spoke on the ongoing crisis in Nigeria after a lot of people mounted pressure on him to break his silence on the recent happenings in Nigeria.
The president issued a statement calling for dialogue to start which will lead to an amicable solution in Nigeria.
From the statement issued, the president indicated that he had spoken to President Buhari to address the concerns of Nigerians and also condemned the use of illegal force by protesters and security officials.
After breaking his silence, the president was expected to be appreciated but the response from the general public especially Nigerians was shocking as they blasted him and urged him to keep mute and mind his own business.
Most of them descended on the president for speaking too late.
