Former President Mahama is being lauded on social media for his gesture of kindness in stopping and assisting victims of a car accident on his way to Ho Airport.
The NDC leader chose to get out of his car and walk up to the two victims, who had suffered different degrees of injury and were fighting for their lives following an accident seconds before his arrival.
Mahama, moved by compassion, stopped his convoy and proceeded to the site where the two victims lay lifeless.
He evaluated the damage, proceeded to unbutton one of the victims’ clothes, and requested that they be transferred to the nearest hospital.
Mahama was in the Volta Regional Ho today to meet executives of the party.
