Speaking in an interview on the 3FM Drive show hosted by Giovani Caleb the MP stood solidly behind the ”Glass nkoa” social media sensation over recent curses that have been directed at him by some chiefs and individuals who are unhappy about Twene Jonas jabbing and accusing chiefs of being the cause of illegal mining in Ghana.
Speaking to Giovanni, he said he thinks the ”Glass Nkoa” activist spoke the hard truth in his recent live video.
“Ghanaians know the truth but we hate to be told the truth and we like to be lied to and so when you see someone who is blunt with the truth and do tell how it is and says it to you how it ought to be said, we end up taking issues with them. Honestly speaking, the thing Twene Jonas has been saying which part of it do we not agree with? What part of the facts that the system is broken in Ghana that he points out can we disagree with?” the legislator quizzed.
He stated that Ghanaians hate to be told the truth and so they always find issues with people who are blunt in telling the truth.
Despite throwing his weight behind the social media sensation he noted that there could be a better approach he can use in telling the truth.
