Narok County’s Moments Of Wonder Campaign Shortlisted For 2020 World Media Awards

The World Media Group has announced the shortlist for the 2020 World Media Awards (WMAs), which showcase the world’s best content-driven and cross-border advertising campaigns.

Narok County Government’s ‘Moments of Wonder’ campaign has been shortlisted.

The awards say that 2020 was a record year for the WMAs, with entries up by 50%. Johan Jervoe, CMO at UBS, was announced as the winner of the WMAs Content Leadership and Innovation Award.

The ‘Moments of Wonder’ campaign comprised of digital interactive experience, exploring the lives of the Maasai, impactful photo stories documenting the annual migration of the wildebeest, experiential listicles and a 360 video of the Maasai ‘jumping dance’.

The awards attracted strong international interest from:

  • Kenya

  • other countries spanning APAC, EMEA and the Americas.
