I Have Done Well In The Corruption Fight – ‘Struggling’ Nana Addo Blows His Own Horn

President Nana Akufo-Addo is pleased with the progress his government has made in combating corruption.

According to the president, his administration has made significant progress in combating the canker, despite increasing suspicions that he lacks legitimacy in the battle against corruption.

Am I satisfied that we’ve been effective? I will say yes,” he told CNN on Monday, May 3, 2021. “A lot has been done, and it is reflected in Ghana’s growing position and rankings of corruption in the world,” he added.

He said the country has gone up several notches “since I came into office because we are dealing with these matters at the basic level.”
