Young and rising GH One Tv Presenter, Serwaa Amihere has been the subject of Ghana Twitter troll since yesterday for what has been termed a poor interview with Ghana’s Information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
During an interview session with the minister, Serwaa quizzed him on why Ghana’s president, Nana Akuffo Addo was not interested in punishing wrong doings in the country citing the Ayawaso Woguon violence issue as an example.
Serwaa also indicated that various forms of punishment had been recommended to be meted out to the culprits and was surprised the President had not resorted to that.
In response, the minister quizzed Serwaa of which recommendation she was talking about.
However, from the look of things it was clear, Serwaa Amihere did not know what she herself was actually talking about. She appeared totally confused and embarrassed.
She has since been the subject of trolls on Ghana Twitter.
In response to the ongoing troll, Nana Aba Anamoah who happens to be Serwaa’s mentor and the General Manager of GH One Tv has taken to Twitter to shut the critics of Serwaa. In her opinion, Nana Aba Anamoah indicated that the interview in its entirety was a super job and patted Serwaa on the back for it.
She then threw in her own shade at the critics and claimed they were only doing “follow follow” just because everyone was commenting on the matter. According to Nana Aba, “clear-eyed” people appreciated Serwaa Amihere’s efforts and praised her for conducting a top-notch interview with a government spokesman.
