Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced a full two weeks lockdown of the various epicentres of the coronavirus (COVID 19) of the country.

According to him, the lockdown will commence in the early hours of Monday at 1 AM, March 31, 2020. The cities include Accra, Kumasi, and Tema.

He announced this when he addressed the nation on Friday, March 27, 2020.

“People in the affected areas must stay at home in the next two weeks. If you must go out, it should be to get essentials, go to the bank or to use a public toilet”, Akufo-Addo said.

Well, a lot of people have been concerned about homeless people on the streets. Since there’s no place for them to sleep, how would they also get locked inside to help them from contracting the deadly Coronavirus?

Ghanaian Young Millionaire, Ibrah 1 promise via his social media handles that he’ll be reaching out to some of these homeless people.

He noted that he’ll provide shelter for some of them for this 2-weeks period and make sure they’ve been fed well.

True to his words, he surprised some homeless people last night.

In videos posted on his Instagram story, one can see him with some boys distributing bags of rice to some families sleeping on the bare floors on the streets of Accra.

Ibrah said his motive is to make sure these homeless people have at least food to eat so that they wouldn’t go about the streets working for money which will expose them to contracting the virus.
