Gospel Singer David Wonder Opens Up On Battling Deep Vein Thrombosis

Kenyan gospel singer David Wonder has revealed that he has been suffering from deep vein thrombosis for over seven months.

Speaking on an interview during the launch of his new album ‘Mwanzo’, David Wonder said the condition has affected his work since he has to be on bed rest till he is fully recovered.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) occurs when a blood clot (thrombus) forms in one or more of the deep veins in the body, usually in the legs. Deep vein thrombosis can cause leg pain or swelling.

The condition has affected him on his left leg and the doctors have advised him against standing for a long time.

Speaking about his new album, he revealed that he wrote most of the songs when he was sing and he poured his heart into the songs.

The album features Kenyan gospel artists and he has intentions of featuring musicians outside Kenya in the future.
