Ghanaians React To Video Of Sir John’s Body Being Flown To His Hometown In A Chopper

Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (Sir John), the former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will be buried on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

The late NPP veteran died in 2020 in Accra’s Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Sir John’s lifeless remains have been taken to his hometown in preparation for burial.

His body was flown to Sakra Wonoo on a chopper.

The helicopter carrying Sir John’s remains is seen hovering over the town in a video obtained by OMGVoice.com.

A lengthy caravan of cars, including a hearse, arrived moments after the aircraft landed to retrieve the casket holding Sir John’s remains.

The video has since gone viral and stirred up a massive debate on the online community.
