New GFA President, Vice To Pocket GH¢12k, GH¢7K As Allowance

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, will receive GHS12,000 as monthly allowance after it the amount was approved at the 26th Ordinary Congress.

His vice, Mark Addo, will also receive GHS 7,000 and members of the GFA executive council, will be paid GHS 4,000 each month.

This arrangement was proposed by the Head of the Emoluments Committee of the Ghana Football Association, Frederick Moore. It was accepted by an overwhelming majority.

Should there be an EXCO meeting, Kurt Okraku will be paid 1,600 as sitting allowance while Mark Addo and EXCO council members will receive 1,400 and 1,300 respectively.

Per the approved proposal, the FA President, Vice President and EXCO members will be paid per day when they travel for an assignment.

Thus for a domestic assignment, Kurt Okraku will receive GHS 600 per day, the Vice President will be paid GHS 500 and the EXCO members will be given GHS 400 for accommodation and transportation.

For international assignments, the FA President will be remunerated with $500 per day as $400 will be given to the Vice President and $300 will be received by the Executive Council members.
