Fresh Twist As Stolen Milimani TV Was Sneaked Out Using GK Mercedes Benz, Driver Paid KSh 2500 by Cleaners

A Judiciary driver was paid KSh 2500 to transport a 55-inch TV stolen by two cleaners from the Milimani Law Courts.

Andrew Onsando Orina and David Elikana Nyabuto were arrested last week after Cctv captured them carting away the TV towards the building’s lift.

According to court documents, the driver Eric Manyange Ondieki who is jointly charged with the two cleaners allegedly received KSh 2500 to transport the stolen item using a government Mercedes-Benz.

“The stolen television was transported using a GKA 198R Mercedes Benz driven by Eric Manyange Ondieki who is an employee of Judiciary and he was paid KSh 2500 for the service” reads the police report in part.

The three who appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Wendy Micheni are alleged to have conspired together to commit a felony namely to steal a television set.

Further details indicate that the stolen set is a TLC model 43P615, black in colour, valued at KSH 50,000 and which is the property of the Judiciary.

TV recovered in Mukuru kwa Njenga The two cleaners are also facing two more counts of stealing and handling stolen goods contrary to the law.

They are alleged to have committed the offence on January 22 ,2022, at Milimani Law Courts, Nairobi, jointly with others not before court.
