Andrea Owusu, popularly identified as Efia Odo, a Ghanaian socialite, has condemned the Ghana Police Service’s decision to block the #FixTheCountry protest from taking place.
The organizers of the online campaign told the police yesterday of their intention to hold a protest against the country’s poverty in Accra on May 9.
According to a letter from the Ghana Police Service, they cannot guarantee that the protesters will follow COVID-19 protocols on the friendly match.
According to the police, the protest cannot take place because of this.
Efia Odo, on the other hand, is not convinced. The video vixen said that because the police did not prevent politiciansย from voting during the 2020 elections, they would not prevent them from demonstrating against poor leadership.
The police didnโt stop our leaders from campaigning during COVID and they wonโt stop us from protesting against bad leadership! #FixTheCountryNow
