Actor turned politician, John Dumelo, has fulfilled his promise to help boost education in his constituency, Ayawaso West Wuogon, by dashing laptops to brilliant but needy students.
In a video sighted by Zionfelix.net on the official Instagram page of the NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo was seen going round distributing the laptops.
Some of the students who were seen receiving the laptop thanked the parliamentary hopeful for his thoughtfulness and expressed their appreciation to him.
One of the recipients of the laptop, a visually-impaired young student of the University of Ghana, Legon, said he was pleased that the actor now turned politician had come to his aid.
Dumelo responded to her message and followed up by gifting her the laptop.
After posting the video on his page, John Dumelo captioned it: “
Our commitment to give out over 4000 laptops to Tertiary students in Ayawaso West started weeks back. I pledge my support to improve education and easy learning amongst the youth for a greater Ghana. #AyawasoWestWuogon #Idey4you.”
Many fans and followers of the actor took to the comment section to heap praises on him for his benevolence.
