All 123 ministers have donated 50 percent of their April, May and June 2020 salaries to support the government’s effort in fighting the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.
This was contained in a statement issued in Accra today Monday, March 30th by the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
The statement said not only the ministers of state, the Chief of Staff and her deputies, and all the numerous Presidential aides are doing generously donating half of their 3-month salary into the COVID-19 National Trust Fund.
So far, Ghana has recorded 152 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
