The Makadara Law Courts has charged a form three student aged 17 with defiling a fellow minor, a 14-year-old girl who had sneaked into his house for a sleepover in Korogocho slum.
Both teens are known to each other and live with their parents who reside in the same neighborhood.
According to news reports, they were spotted together earlier that day on June 20, probably plotting their night business.
The girl was discovered to be missing from her parent’s house at 3:00am later that night by her younger brother who then informed their parents.
The duo was caught in bed at around 5:00am.
The boy’s mother took him to Kariobangi Police Station in an effort to engage the girl’s family in reconciliation talks.
However, the boy denied the charges before the court and was freed on bond.
The first hearing of the case has been scheduled for September 9, 2020.
