A man named Bryant had always been in love with his friend Desiree White.
Unfortunately, he finally got the gumption to tell her on the day of her wedding, during the best man speech, which he was DELIVERING as he was also best friends with the groom!
Bryant said during his speech,
“I remember the first moment I saw Desiree, I loved her. I fell in love with her. I knew she had to be mine. I thought she was the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Bryant poured his heart out to the some 200 guests at the wedding, which obviously left Desiree embarrassed and confused as up to that point, she thought their relationship was strictly platonic.
Even later in the evening, Desiree shared a dance with Bryant, where he asked her, “Why didn’t you ever give me a chance? I would have always taken care of you.”
Telling the New York Post, Desiree recalled, “I asked him what he meant and he said, ‘Nothing. I love you, I love [the groom]. Then he got quiet.”

Desiree just chalked it up to Bryant being drunk and lonely, though after less than a year, her marriage began falling apart. She was going through a depression, and then she remembered everything Bryant told her.
They often hung out so he could help guide her through her divorce, and one day they kissed. And she kissed him back.
Within a year of that kiss, Desiree and Bryant became a couple, and had a child. Now, ten years later, they have four, and Desiree says she’s just living the dream.
“We love being parents. Twenty-year-old Desiree wouldn’t think she could be a mom of four kids,” she said. “She couldn’t imagine this is what my life would be like now.”
